Near Record Snow.

As we got ready for bed last night (Friday night) we already had some snow on the ground. It was not coming down so fast and if you saw it you'd ask why all of the fuss?

Okay, so there is some good snow. But still, it was still pretty light.

Then, the next morning! Ouch.

As Daddy gets ready to shovel the front of the house, this is what he was met with.

There was once steps here!

After some good labor, here is Daddy's fine work!

It was clean when Daddy start, but not when he finished...

Daddy started to realize that the cars were quite locked-in.

Truly sleek body design!
\

When I measured, drifts were between 3 feet and 2 feet.

Here are some pictures from our alley. Daddy suddenly realized that his car was going to be locked-in for some time to come.

The garbage can across the way is up against a wall, so it was not affected by the wind and we take it to be a pretty good measure of the actual snowfall total.

A little later in the day...as the snow fall continued.

Finally, as the snow fall came to a close...

Here is our alley from one end...

Our house from the back...

Here's the alley from the other end. Nope, Daddy doesn't think we're going to have the car for maybe several weeks. We are guessing they do not plow the alley.

Here's the Subaru at the beginning of the storm...

And, the next morning...

Towards the end of the day...

Here's the deck!

Some pictures on our way to the park! Too bad Mommy and Daddy left their sleds in Ann Arbor.

I really had fun on the swing...for about 10 minutes...

The sun is setting...

Here are some random lumps that are probably cars...

Signs around the neighborhood. Note the blue sky!

The street lights are usually pretty flat up-top.

And What A Month!

Busy busy at work and home.
Richie just loves to play with the phone!
He really wants to climb the stairs,
Standing on end, it makes our hairs!

He points to what he wants ,
He points to everything, lots lots lots!
Richie love to walk with help,
And, if you don't do it, he will yelp.

If you say hooray,
He will clap his hands.
He likes to play piano,
Soon he'll be in a band!

He no longer cares to fall asleep,
He likes to play "So Big," it's neat!
He's learning to unlock the play-pen gate,
If he would fall asleep in less than two hours, it would be great!

When there's a book he wants to read,
It's quite grand!
He'll shove the book,
Right in your hand!

Darling at first,
Yes it's true.
Until you've read again,
Twenty times through!

Here are some pictures,
To enjoy.
Some are cute,
Others are coy.

We have had great success selling the hand-me-down toys that Richie has outgrown. (Of course, we give the money to the friend (Kiki) that is passing them down to us.) We were all ready to sell the Jump-a-Roo since he really had not used it in several month. When ever we would put him in it, he would slump over to the side and start crying. We decided to take some pictures to post it on Craig's list and having Richie in the shot always seems to help the sale! No big surprise there. But, what was the big surprise is that he really likes it again!

I was waiting for all of the Joe O's to jump out!

Mommy and Richie! For once, it's the right eye that is a little more closed than the other.

He has become more frequently cuddly. You might imagine that we like that!

This is one of his favorite books! (Thanks Omee!) He enjoys it so much that we cannot read/play with it at night-time because it get's him too wound up!

An early morning nap! He's been really congested and having him sleep at an angle helps his post-nasal drip.

Daddy came up with this idea to lock his gate with a little stick that weaves through rings attached to the two sides. It's much easier than trying to undo the gate and much safer than try to step over it without landing on a ball or toy. Unfortunately, it turns out that The Boy is very clever! At least, we think so...

He can only pull it out about 1/4 the way. But it won't last too much longer.

Here Daddy! Read THIS book to me!

Richie put his shoe on my big toe!

This is THE FUNNIEST movie so far! We read this book every night, and he really enjoys it! We had read it once and I thought it would be a cute idea to read it again and take a video. Richie, however, clearly felt we were reading the WRONG book...

Darn strong-willed baby!

Every Walking Minute.

Jump-a-Roo Part Deux

So Big...BURP!

Goofing around.

Richie and his favorite flip-book.

Really So Big!

Richie is totally out of the shot, however, you have hear him laughing his cute little tushie-off! What I am doing is flicking his bathtub animals into a plastic Halloween basket. Mommy forgot we were trying to make a movie at the end...:)

Okay, those are all of the movies for right now....More posting from our snow fall! The current Baltimore total is 26.5 inches of snow. The second biggest storm on record!
